Fabric Dyeing (Fall 2024)
In this class we learned five different dye classes: Union, Direct, Acid, Disperse and Fiber Reactive. We learned these different dye classes through different color match assignments on different types of fabric. We also learned about how to execute ombre and silk painting.
Learning how to silk paint: The bird was my first try at silk painting. The colorful circles was my first full scale piece.
